We woke up early, packed up, and waited for a car to go by. We only had a day of food and were 16 miles away from resupply.I couldnt put my shoe on much less walk without limping. We only waited 5 minutes before some women came by and gave us a ride to a hunting camp just down the road. The camp trained sled dogs and I got to play with the cutest puppy while we called for a taxi into Millinocket. The gentleman that came and picked us up was very nice and conserned about my foot. We made it to town and got a room at the Katahdin Inn. Later that afternoon EVERYONE showed up and we were all going to summit on Friday. We hung out in the hottub and in each others rooms.
