Woke up and had breakfast. We got ready and headed back to the trail. It was wonderful being around such a great mom as Catherine. She made us feel at home very quickly. When we got to the trail head we headed to the store and resupplied with James' family. Susan and Keith were fun to talk to and they slackpacked us for the day. We later met up and went on an adventure to find a Mexican restraunt. It was yummy but they didn't have cheese dip. Just shredded chedder cheese. The burrito was really good and filling. We hikes back on the trail and carries sodas to the upper goose pond cabin. It was interesting having a care taker but we tented so we haven't been around them much. We heard there was pancakes in the morning if we signed the list out front. We hung out on the dock in a huge pond until it got dark and we headed back to the tent. Going to try for a big day again tomorrow. Goodnight!

Woke up at 7 and all the pancakes were already gone. I guess signing up for pancakes did nothing. We went back to sleep and got up around 9. We drank our last soda and headed out. Most of the day was calmer and flatter than usual. It was super muddy in places. We made it to the cookie ladys house and she had a sign that said closed until Thursday. So we didn't get cookies. We headed to the shelter taking a few breaks in between. We got to the shelter and there were a bunch of students that are out for a week trail maintenance. They shelter was super muddy and I swept it out twice but they kept tracking more mud in. Ate dinner and laid down early.
